This filing guide is easy to use, this guide sharpens both the cutters and lowers the rakers at the same time. When you want to switch from sharpening from left hand cutters to right hand cutters you simply flip the filing guide over. The great design of this sharpener ensures you get the correct angles every time. This is a great tool to use to sharpen your chain, hand sharpening is more economic and much gentler than machine-based sharpening and can prolong the service life of the saw chain.

Standard 5/32" round files work with this guide.
Will not work on skip-tooth or safety chain.
